Following the success of the Noalimba PD day last year, ECAWA is once again hosting an informal PD for SIGs and other interested parties.

Event - Inspiration & Authorware - Thinking Structures.

Fundamentals of Inspiration and Authorware with a view to developing thinking structures and the logic/creativity "brain blend" in kids (and teachers!).
Very applicable for classroom project work with a "one computer" scenario.....or a lab. Both very affordable and adaptable software. Emphasis on "hands on". 18 computers.

Designing graphic elements for the web is fraught with the peculiarities of the Internet. Macromedia Fireworks is a program that greatly simplifies this process. It is a combination vector & bitmap graphics program with specific web optimization features. This presentation discusses the design process from initial sketch to functional web site opening up the potential for greater flexibility and professionalism in web page design.
