About the Presenter:

Peter Kent, Deputy Principal of Richardson Primary School (ACT), is currently on leave from his position in order to head up the Commander Team of Interactive Whiteboard Experts.

Peter was responsible for leading Richardson Primary School’s ground breaking use of Interactive Whiteboards within their teaching and learning program.

Richardson Primary School was awarded a Federal Government’s National Award for Quality Schooling based on their interactive whiteboard initiative. Case studies of this initiative have appeared in the Practicing Administrator, Educare and the UK journal SNAPSHOTS. Peter has distilled the pedagogical changes that took place at Richardson Primary School in the form of the ‘e-Teaching Framework’.

Peter Kent has presented over 20 seminars and conference papers on ‘e-teaching’ to educators across Australia, the UK, Asia and within the USA.
