A presentation in two parts:
Part A: Taking photos and video content and quickly publishing and sharing it.
Part B: Sharing content across the classroom, state, across Australia and the across the world.
John Treloar will also present
Adobe - Visual Communicator - Produce professional video, news casts and content, just like a real TV station
Use Visual Communicator to create TV quality broadcasts.
Web 2.0 and Adobe - We'll look at applications, developing
content, mashups, rich internet applications and how to align these with
the classroom.
We'll also look at what's coming from AIR (code named Apollo) -
media player, word processor, directories and more!

Adobe Systems Pacific, Education Director, Asia Pacific
In the role of Education Director, Asia Pacific, John Treloar’s key responsibilities include major whole of country and state-wide educational training, curriculum and software programs, Tertiary Institution Site Licenses and development of a common, manageable Education offering across the Asia Pacific Region.
John has a strong background in the Information Technology industry, and has held several senior roles with Microsoft in Australia, including Corporate Marketing Director, Regional Marketing Manager, as well as Education Sales and Marketing Manager. Two years spent in Paris as Microsoft’s European Business Development Manager was a real highlight of John’s career and added even more to his already broad skill set.
Besides working for Macromedia as Managing Director for Australia/New Zealand, John Treloar is also a partner in the Internet e-commerce business www.betterskin.com.au.
John Treloar’s tertiary education was at Charles Sturt University, Deakin University and Riverina College of Advanced Education, and he holds a Bachelor of Education and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Education.
