Level 3 Classroom Teacher (L3CT) Checklist ...

L3CT Status is not -
   -  recognition of longevity of teaching.
   -  recognition of age.
    - a natural progression from "Senior Teacher" status.
    -  recognition of classroom skills.
    - an automatic salary scale increment.

To attain L3CT status you must demonstrate mastery of specific competencies. In general, you must be a competent classroom teacher AND be active educationally outside the classroom (District -> State -> National).
