For
this Task you are required to create a system for predicting Loan Payment information
using Microsoft Excel. Your spreadsheet should be able to inform the user about
minimum monthly repayments, term of the loan and total payments based on amount
borrowed, interest rate and monthly repayments.
Design
Requirements
You
are to use at least two “worksheets”. The top worksheet should be designed as a
user-friendly interface that accepts input and then reports calculations
(outputs). The actual calculations should be performed on the second worksheet.
The
user interface should be attractive and simple to use.

At
the conclusion of the Task, you are required to write a brief evaluation
outlining your successes and failures and explaining what you would change if
you were doing this Task again. Give your reasons for any changes.

NOTE for Teachers … The Checklist table below is a much more
general document than the Assessment Matrix. I have left it here to cater for
school reporting that may require ‘tick-boxes’, comments, graded scales, etc
(rather than Levels as such). The items on the checklist map loosely
to the Strand Statements, but they could not generate a valid statement about
“Levels”. In time the Checklist will
disappear. Students will work directly from the Assessment Matrix. |
