Nature |
Explain
in words how the formula you entered for working out Loan repayments works. |
This
formula calculates “Simple Interest”. Explain how your formula would need to
change to work out “Compound Interest” |
What
changes would you make to the User Interface and formula to improve your
Spreadsheet? |
Use
diagrams and notes to describe a Loan Calculator system that would be
suitable for use by Bank customers (in a Bank). NOTE:
Customers would expect a VERY high standard from such a system. |
|
Techniques |
List the
results you obtained when you entered at least three (3) different values
into your spreadsheet. |
Use the
Excel Help menus to find a built-in function to calculate loan interest
payments. Change your spreadsheet to incorporate this function. How does it
compare to the simple formula you originally used? |
Create
another spreadsheet using these changes. Test the new spreadsheet by entering
a variety of values. Document any errors you found (eh What happens when you
enter a letter instead of a number?) and how you overcame them. |
Create a
User-Friendly spreadsheet similar to the Loan Calculator (using at least two
Worksheets) for working out a person’s age in days, given their age in Years,
Months and Days. Submit all Designs, Plans, rough drafts, Diaries,
evaluation, etc |
