Using Policy Editor (Poledit) on Windows 98 ...
STEP 1 Insert the Win98 CD ROM and locate Poledit.
When you try to launch Poledit it will give the following error message ...
STEP 2 Go to Options/Policy Template...
The Open Template File window appears...
STEP 3 Use the Add... button to add (at least) the following and then click the OK button ...
STEP 4 Go to File/Open Registry.
You should now have access to the registry editing tools ...
